Oksanna is a retired elementary school teacher and would be happy to tailor her presentation to the needs of your students. She loves to talk about:
- the joy of reading and writing and how they re-enforce each other
- how Oksanna became an author and how anyone can become one
- how a book comes to life from idea to final product
- how to approach illustrating a picture book from thumbnail sketch to final illustration
- how to construct or plot a story
- how to develop a character
- how to write a non-fiction book
- presentation includes a slideshow
Fee:
Virtual presentation: $100.00 for one-hour session (for Kindergarten two 30-minute presentations)
In-person presentation/workshop: $250.00. Includes mileage. Grey Bruce and Greater Toronto Area (for Kindergarten two 30-minute presentations)
